The BPD-1 introduces advanced acoustic technology that seamlessly blends design with performance. Featuring a binary pattern of perforations in a rigid template over a sound-absorbent core, it achieves well-balanced sound absorption across the full range of NRC frequency bands. Additionally, BPD-1 intelligently rolls off absorption at 1000Hz to prevent excessive high-frequency absorption. It further transitions to a scattering surface at very high frequencies, enhancing mid and low-frequency absorption for comprehensive acoustic treatment. Installation is effortless with integrated cleats, allowing the BPD-1 to be quickly and easily hung on any wall surface. For overhead mounting, units can be suspended from integrated hairpin loops using MDG’s engineered cables and hardware. Each panel is versatile, offering the option to be hung individually as a "cloud" or combined to create a canopy. Available in dimensions of 2” (width) x 4’0” (length) x 10” (depth). All components are Class A Fire Rated, ensuring safety and compliance.
